Timothy Institute of Evangelism

Founded in 1985 to facilitate an evangelistic preaching ministry, the Timothy Institute of Evangelism has grown to become a premier Event Evangelism organization with national and international scope.

Using a network of associates and a vast system of volunteers, the Timothy Institute is positioned to assist any sized ministry from small churches to large conventions with creative evangelistic events.   Also key to the ministry are conference speaking and motivational presentations.  Custom-made witnessing publications as well as the "Block Party Trailer" are part of the overall outreach strategy

Tim B. Knopps

Tim Knopps is a dynamic preaching evangelist specializing in evangelistic events.  He has assisted Churches, associations, conventions and ministry groups reach their communities with the Gospel for more than 25 years.  Gifted in one-on-one witnessing and creative street evangelism, Tim is best known for large community outreach events such as Block Parties, Festivals and Major Sport Outreach Projects which can reach beyond two hundred thousand people per event. 

 

Over 7 million people have been presented with the Gospel through the outreach endeavors lead by Tim Knopps. He has travel extensively throughout the United States and has been to more than 20 countries. He has worked as a on staff at the North American Mission Board as the Event Evangelism Director and at the Baptist General Convention as the Interim Evangelism Associate. His wife, Karyl, is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in  private practice in Edmond, Oklahoma.
